It’s just another day in the office around here while preparing to start cycling the 500 miles for the Great Cycling Challenge fight Kids’ Cancer.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been trying to find out why it hurt so much pedaling my bike and thanks to Rogue Electric Bikes “Dave” in Desert Ridge we’ve figured it out. It was my pedals and my shoes! I had purchased pedals for my bike that had an extra long axel and didn’t realize it. On top of this, my Specialized Torch 2.0 road shoes were causing huge issues as the tongue keeps sliding down into my toes causing them to go to sleep. I swapped out the pedals and have ordered new shoes which arrived late last night. One thing I’ve learned is to never buy anything with the word Specialized on it. I’ve never liked this brand and have found nothing with the name on it that was of any value or worth actually using. The shoes are a very bad design, the tongue sits sideways and when the BOA tightens it straightens the tongue causing a fold in the material. Specialized is and will always be low-end garbage to me. Sadly I purchased those shoes and have had troubles from day one, they will go in the trash.
